Hello! 
I'm Anne. Welcome to Espresso & Macarons, two things that never fail to bring a dollop of delight to my heart.

I was born in Taiwan and moved to the USA at 3 years of age. I grew up living in California, Florida, Georgia, and New Jersey. As the oldest of three kids, I was quite bossy and enjoyed giving surprise math quizzes to my siblings and grading them with big red markers.

These days, I enjoy doing Crossfit, practicing yoga, creating masterful cups of coffee at home, and watching Scandal with our two cats. (And despite what Jason will claim, I'm not a crazy cat lady yet... that would require adopting another cat or two, which I would be ok with.)

A few months ago (November 2014), I married my partner in life and husband, Jason. He is a former Marine who loves Kung Fu, racing motorcycles, and cute kitties. Since then, we have found ourselves traveling to new lands and sharing in some amazing adventures. Though we may be opposites in a lot of aspects, we both love to cuddle our cats, eat too much, and explore new things.

This is essentially a blog about finding and cherishing those snippets of color that I find myself encountering in life.
